Receive an updated draft for Fiscal Year 2025-2026.

Receive comments from the public regarding the Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) for the period from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025. The CAPER is a report on the City’s utilization of the Entitlement Funds in the amount of $368,392.00 for the period of April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025.

Receive comments from the public on the proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2025-2026.

Receive comments from the public and consider First Reading of an ordinance to rezone an approximate 

3.0-acre parcel of land from Residential-15 (R-15) to General Commercial (GC). The property is located at 819 South Guignard Drive and is identified by Tax Map Number 226-03-03-005. 

Receive comments from the public and consider First Reading of an ordinance to rezone approximately 34.38 acres of property from Residential-15 (R-15) to Planned Development (PD-25-01). The property is located on the southeast corner of the intersection of Pinewood Road and Stadium Road and is identified by Tax Map Numbers 207-00-05-001 and 207-11-07-006 (part).

Receive comments from Councilmembers concerning matters of interest to the Council and the City of Sumter.

Receive comments and/or reports from the City Manager.

Consistent with our City Code, this is an opportunity for Citizens of the City, who have signed up prior to the beginning of this meeting, to address the Council on City matters with the exception of personnel matters. Comments are limited to no more than three (3) minutes.

Review any pending legislation pertinent to local government.

To discuss contractual matters, and appointments to Boards and Commissions, and/or to receive legal advice relating to matters covered by attorney-client privilege, if necessary, in accordance with Section 30-4-70 of the South Carolina Code of Laws.

The public is hereby notified that if Sumter City Council holds an Executive Session, the Council may take official action on the above-listed matters following the conclusion of the Executive Session.
