Consider First Reading of an ordinance to amend certain fees and charges of the City of Sumter, including water and sewer rates.

Consider Final Reading of Ordinance Number 2901 rezoning approximately 22.24 acres of land from Residential-15 (R-15) and General Commercial (GC) to Planned Development (PD). The property is located at 2640 West Oakland Avenue and identified by Tax Map Numbers 206-00-03-024, 206-00-03-025, and 206-00-02-001.

Consider Final Reading of Ordinance Number 2902 entitled: “An Ordinance Authorizing the Execution, Delivery, and Performance of a Lease-Purchase Agreement and Other Documents Relating to the Lease-Purchase Financing of Certain Vehicles and Equipment in an Aggregate Principal Amount of Not Exceeding $2,465,000.00, and Other Matters Relating Thereto.”

Receive preliminary draft for Fiscal Year 2026-2027.

Consider First Reading of an ordinance to authorize the sale of certain city-owned properties acquired through the Neighborhood Improvement Program.

Consider First Reading of an ordinance to authorize the sale of certain city-owned properties located at 703 Broad Street, 846 Liberty Street, 1015 South Main Street, and 503 South Harvin Street.

Receive comments from Councilmembers concerning matters of interest to the Council and the City of
Sumter.

Receive comments and/or reports from the City Manager.

To discuss contractual matters related to City-owned property, personnel matters, and appointments to Boards and Commissions, and/or to receive legal advice relating to matters covered by attorney-client privilege, if necessary, in accordance with Section 30-4-70 of the South Carolina Code of Laws.

The public is hereby notified that if Sumter City Council holds an Executive Session, the Council may take
official action on the above-listed matters following the conclusion of the Executive Session.
