Receive comments from the public and consider First Reading of anordinance to rezone approximately 22.24 acres of land from Residential-15 (R-15) and General Commercial (GC) to Planned Development (PD). The property is located at 2640 West Oakland Avenue and identified by Tax Map Numbers 206-00-03-024, 

206-00-03-025, and 206-00-02-001.

Consider appointments due to expire December 31, 2025, and other vacancies.

Consider First Reading of an ordinance entitled: “An Ordinance Authorizing the Execution, Delivery, and Performance of a Lease-Purchase Agreement and Other Documents Relating to the Lease-Purchase Financing of Certain Vehicles and Equipment in an Aggregate Principal Amount of Not Exceeding $2,465,000.00, and Other Matters Relating Thereto.”

Consider First Reading of an ordinance to amend certain fees and charges of the City of Sumter, including water and sewer rates. 

Consider Resolution Number 1025 designating the month of April as Fair Housing Month in the City of Sumter.

Consider Resolution Number 1026 authorizing a contract for Professional Services for the Palmetto Park Greenway Connector Feasibility Study Project. 

Receive comments from Councilmembers concerning matters of interest to the Council and the City of Sumter.

Receive comments and/or reports from the City Manager.

Citizens of the City desiring to speak must notify the City Clerk prior to the beginning of the meeting by completing the sign-in sheet located at the entrance to the Council Chambers. Comments are limited to no more than three (3) minutes.
