Consider Final Reading of Ordinance Number 2871 rezoning an approximate 0.34-acre portion of a largerparcel of land from Residential-9 (R-9) to Limited Commercial (LC). The property is located at 314 Lesesne Court and identified by Tax Map Number 228-01-01-039 (part).

Receive a presentation from the Police Chief on the Sumter Police Department’s activities for the 2024 calendar year.

Consider First Reading of an ordinance to annex by 100 percent petition approximately 2.99 acres of land (including right-of-way) from a larger parcel located on West Oakland Avenue and identified by Tax Map Number 206-00-03-023 (part).

Consider First Reading of an ordinance to annex by 100 percent petition approximately 2.27 acres of land located at 775 St. Augustine Drive and identified by Tax Map Number 185-00-02-054.

Consider acceptance of a Maintenance Guarantee/Deed of Dedication for 24 lots in Phase Three D (3D) of Timberline Meadows Subdivision, consisting of lots 85-102 and 283-288 located along Riders Drive and Hacienda Court.

Receive comments from Councilmembers concerning matters of interest to the Council and the City of
Sumter.

Receive comments and/or reports from the City Manager.

Review any pending legislation pertinent to local government.

To discuss contractual matters, personnel matters, and appointments to Boards and Commissions, and/or to receive legal advice relating to matters covered by attorney-client privilege, if necessary, in accordance with Section 30-4-70 of the South Carolina Code of Laws.
