Consider appointments due to expire December 31, 2025, and other vacancies. 

 

Consider First Reading of an ordinance to rezone an approximate 0.15-acre parcel of land from General Commercial (GC) to General Residential (GR). The property is located at 419 South Lafayette Drive and is identified by Tax Map Number 250-09-04-025. 

Consider Final Reading of Ordinance Number 2892 authorizing a lease agreement with respect to certain real property. The property is located at 627 South Sumter Street and is identified by Tax Map Number 227-12-03-026.

Consider Final Reading of Ordinance Number 2894 amending the Business License Ordinance of the City of Sumter to update the Class Schedule as required by Act 176 of 2020, and to update the Rate Schedule.

Consider Resolution Number 1012 authorizing a contract for the Stadium Road Fire Station Additions and Renovations. 

Receive comments from Councilmembers concerning matters of interest to the Council and the City of Sumter.

Receive comments and/or reports from the City Manager.

To discuss contractual matters and appointments to Boards and Commissions, and/or to receive legal advice relating to matters covered by attorney-client privilege, if necessary, in accordance with Section 30-4-70 of the South Carolina Code of Laws.
