BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS
Consider appointments expired June 30, 2025, and other vacancies.
RZ-25-14, 419 SOUTH LAFAYETTE DRIVE
Consider First Reading of an ordinance to rezone an approximate 0.15-acre parcel of land from General Commercial (GC) to General Residential (GR). The property is located at 419 South Lafayette Drive and is identified by Tax Map Number 250-09-04-025.
NEW BUSINESS
PROCUREMENT RESOLUTION
Consider Resolution Number 1002 authorizing the purchase of one (1) Mongoose Model 184XL-HD Trailer Jet.
MAINTENANCE GUARANTEE/DEED OF DEDICATION
Consider acceptance of a Maintenance Guarantee/Deed of Dedication for 26 lots in Phase Two-A (2-A) of Sibley Village Subdivision, consisting of lots 132-143 and 149-162 located along Daylilly Street and Salvia Street.
COUNCIL REPORTS
Receive comments from Councilmembers concerning matters of interest to the Council and the City of Sumter.
CITY MANAGER’S REPORT
Receive comments and/or reports from the City Manager.
LEGISLATIVE UPDATE
Review any pending legislation pertinent to local government.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
To discuss contractual matters and appointments to Boards and Commissions, and/or to receive legal advice relating to matters covered by attorney-client privilege, if necessary, in accordance with Section 30-4-70 of the South Carolina Code of Laws.
The public is hereby notified that if Sumter City Council holds an Executive Session, the Council may take official action on the above-listed matters following the conclusion of the Executive Session.
