Consider First Reading of an ordinance to approve and authorize the transfer of title by deed for certain real property owned by the City of Sumter to Sumter Opera House, LLC. The property is located at 17 North Main Street (formerly 15 and 17 North Main Street) and identified by Tax Map Number 228-12-05-010.  

Consider Resolution Number 991 authorizing a contract for the Crosswell Neighborhood Stormwater Improvements Project - Phase 1. 

Consider Resolution Number 992 authorizing the purchase of one (1) Automated Garbage Truck. 

Consider Resolution Number 993 authorizing an agreement with the South Carolina Department of Transportation for professional services for the Sumter Sidewalk Connectivity Project. 

Consider Resolution Number 994 authorizing a contract for professional services for the Safe Streets and Roads for All Project. 

Receive comments from Councilmembers concerning matters of interest to the Council and the City of Sumter. 

Receive comments and/or reports from the City Manager. 

Citizens of the City desiring to speak must notify the City Clerk prior to the beginning of the meeting by completing the sign-in sheet located at the entrance to the Council Chambers. Comments are limited to no more than three (3) minutes. 

Review any pending legislation pertinent to local government. 

To discuss contractual matters and appointments to Boards and Commissions, and to receive legal advice related to business licenses in accordance with Section 30-4-70 of the South Carolina Code of Laws.
