Receive comments from the public and consider First Reading of an ordinance setting the amounts of certain development fees and charges and other fees and charges related to the Unified Development Ordinance. 

Consider appointments expired on June 30, 2026, and other vacancies.

Consider Final Reading of Ordinance Number 2910 entitled: “An Ordinance to Provide for the Issuance and Sale of a Not Exceeding Five Million One Hundred Thousand Dollar ($5,100,000) General Obligation Bond of the City of Sumter, South Carolina, to Provide for the Issuance and Sale of a Note in Anticipation of the Issuance of Said Bond, to Prescribe the Purposes for Which the Proceeds of Said Bond and Note Shall be Expended, to Provide for the Payment of Said Bond and Note, and Other Matters Relating Thereto.”

Consider Resolution Number 1042 to adopt the Santee-Lynches Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan for the 2026-2030. 

Receive comments from Councilmembers concerning matters of interest to the Council and the City of Sumter.

Receive comments and/or reports from the City Manager.

To discuss contractual matters, personnel matters, and appointments to Boards and Commissions, and/or to receive legal advice relating to matters covered by attorney-client privilege, if necessary, in accordance with Section 30-4-70 of the South Carolina Code of Laws.

The public is hereby notified that if Sumter City Council holds an Executive Session, the Council may take
official action on the above-listed matters following the conclusion of the Executive Session.
